“Trooping the Colour” el desfile que reúne cada año a la Familia Real británica

Quizás sea extraño que la reina Isabel II celebre su cumpleaños en estas fechas, cuando ella nació en abril, pero esta tradición se remonta al siglo XVII, a tiempos del rey Jorge II.

Seguramente por cuestiones prácticas, el monarca decidió celebrar su cumpleaños el mismo día que el desfile para no sufrir las inclemencias del tiempo.

Esta costumbre se ha mantenido hasta el día de hoy, y es un evento que causa gran expectación en el mundo. Se trata de una gran oportunidad para ver a la Familia Real británica reunida al completo, y tantos su gestos como los conjuntos elegidos para celebrar esta señalada fecha son analizados al detalle.

Además, se espera que Meghan Markle haga un paréntesis en su baja de maternidad para asistir en carruaje junto a su marido.
